Evolution – Fact or Fantasy?

These are the main icons that “proves” evolution and is contained in most textbooks;

Icon 1: The Miller experiment

Through the simulation of the early earth’s atmosphere, and then exposed this atmosphere to electrical charges, Stanley Miller allegedly created a sticky red substance containing amino acids…

Reality check: Nobody knows for sure what the early earth’s atmosphere really looked like, scientists now agree that it did not contain the substances used in the Miller experiment. Miller used a combination of Ammonia, Methane and Water damp, which was rejected by the Science magazine, 1995 which stated that the early atmosphere most probably consisted off Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide and Water damp. When the same experiment was done with the above elements, the result was disastrous, it created cyanide…

Icon 2: Darwin’s Tree of life

Darwin suggested that all forms of life originates from a single primitive cell, through a process of natural selection, this involves both Macro and Micro evolution through millions of years…

Reality check: Fossil records clearly disproves Darwin’s Tree of life theory, Darwin admitted that large groups of complete fossils, called Phyla, suddenly appears in the fossil records, no records show any form of evolution as contained in Darwin’s theory.

Why is the missing link still missing?

Icon 3: The embryo sketches of Ernst Haeckel

Ernst Haeckel published sketches indicating that the embryo’s of various animals, including the Human, shows remarkable similarities when viewed in the early stages of life. This allegedly indicated that we all had the same origin.

Reality check: When comparing the same embryo’s that Haeckel used, it was found that they are not even remotely similar; Haeckel was charged and convicted with fraud in the1860’s. He was so positive about his theory, that he did not even take a look at all the embryo’s, but actually proceeded copying them from a wooden stencil that he had made. He even went so far to change his sketches so that they could appear more similar.

Icon 4: The missing link

The most famous fossil of all, the archaeoptetyx – 150 million years old, it allegedly has the wings, feathers and bones of a bird, the tail of a lizard and has claws on the wings. It is seen as the so-called missing link. It was half bird, half reptile…

Reality check: The archaeoptetyx is a bird, and not the missing link between birds and lizards, they searched for fossils with the assumption that birds have evolved from lizards. Larry Martin found that modern birds do not stem from the archaeoptetyx; it was a bird that became extinct.

They came up with another “fossil” the archaeoraptor, which was supposedly the first fossil indicating that birds stemmed from dinosaurs. This was proven a fake when a Chinese paleontologist showed the world that someone stuck a dinosaur tail onto the skeleton of a primitive bird. The Chinese fossil trade is actually big business and fakes are exposed on a regular basis.

The missing link thus remains missing…

Icon 5: The legend of the Java Man

This theory literally says that your great, great, great grandfather was a Ape…Many said that this is the missing link between Apes and Humans.

Reality check: The whole legend of the Java Man originates from a couple of fossils; a piece of the top skull, a femur and three teeth. They are not even sure that the femur and the piece of skull belong to each other.

Out of that the legend of the Java man was born, they must have had pr-conceived ideas, and a lot off imagination – Disney would have been proud of them…
